On most car journeys he would insist on [[listening]] to motivational or business-related tape sets. On one occasion, when I was about twelve years old, we were listening to a tape about [[marketing]] and the speaker was talking about the [[important|importance]] of having a clear ‘[[CTA|call to action]]’ in all marketing materials. This sparked a discussion analysing the billboards we drove past to see how many of them had met the criteria. Years later, I was at a conference and heard the distinctive voice of the speaker from the tape set. I introduced myself and told him the story of me and Dad driving along looking at billboards based on his advice. We hit it off and went for a [[coffee]].
